REPORT ARSONISTS, CAL-FIRE ASKS

Printer-friendly version

July 25, 2011 (San Diego’s East County) — Cal Fire is asking for your help in identifying suspected arsonists.

If you see a fire start, report it and remember everything you saw, Cal Fire advises. Make note of any suspicious vehicles or persons. The information you have, no matter how minor, could be the key to stopping the arsonist.

"When arsonists set grass or brush fires, they do not care if your home is destroyed or your children burned," a release from Cal Fire states. "You can put a stop to these people by calling Cal Fire or your local fire department. Be fire safe, not sorry!"
