February 11, 2011 (Escondido)–What could be sweeter on Valentine’s Day weekend than to indulge at the second annual “For the Love of Chocolate and SweetArt Festival” on February 12? Bring your sweetheart—or just your sweet tooth.

The Downtown Business Association in Escondido is sponsoring this event from 1 to 5 p.m., inviting participants to savor the best of downtown shops and spas while sampling locally brewed beer and wines—paired with San Diego’s finest chocolatiers. Guests can also shop for goodies at “Sweet Street” and enjoy live music by Jimmy Patton in the Champagne Garden.

Admission to Sweet Street and the Champagne Garden is free. There is a $20 admission for sampling ten beer/wine and chocolate pairings.
