HELICOPTER CRASH IN VALLEY CENTER INJURES 2

September 20, 2009 (Valley Center) – A helicopter has crashed in southeastern Valley Center at Orozco Ridge on a remote part of the Guijito Ranch. CAL-FIRE and Valley Center Fire Department responded at 2:40 p.m.

San Diego County Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter hoisted two patients from the crash site to two awaiting Mercy Air helicopters, which transported the injured to a waiting hospital. According to Incident Page Network, patients suffered neck and back pain.
