FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE 2 TRAPPED IN STREAM

January 21, 2010 (Valley Center) – Two people have been rescued from a Toyota four runner that became stuck after the driver attempted to cross a stream and water began flowing inside the vehicle.

 

Cal Fire and the Valley Center Fire Department responded to the call at 9:21 p.. and found the vehicle partially submerged in a moving creek across from 12662 Betsworth Road in Valley Center. Firefighters trained in swift water rescue pulled both occupants to safety and no one was injured.
