June 20, 2023 (San Francisco) – The Padres were robbed last night in extras, so they tried again tonight with Seth Lugo on the hill against Anthony DeSclafani for the Giants.
Juan Soto took control again with a double in the third to score Trent Grisham.  Manny Machado grounded into a fielder’s choice that scored Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Padres led 2-0 after three.

Michael Conforto grounded into a double play that scored Thairo Estrada in the fourth, but Tatis Jr. knocked out a solo homer in the fifth and the Padres led 3-1 after five.

Brandon Crawford singled in the seventh to score Luis Matos and the Padres led 4-2 after seven.

But the Giants did it again.  Joc Pederson homered in the eighth and we were tied at three after eight.

With the bases loaded in the 10th, Pederson walked to score Matos and the Padres were walked off again, 4-3.
