CONTROLLED BURN PLANNED NEAR PINE VALLEY

January 30, 2011 (Pine Valley) – Cal-Fire/San Diego County Fire Authority will conduct a controlled burn starting at Corte Mader Road near Pine Valley starting Monday, January 31 through Wednesday, February 2.

The burn is part of a vegetation management plan but is dependent on weather, said Cal-Fire Captain Mike Mohler. Continuous monitoring will occur and if weather conditions become adverse, the operation will be rescheduled.
