May 12, 2010 (Jamul) – A small brush fire on the 13th hole of Cottonwood Golf Course on Willows Road near Jamul was swiftly extinguished by Cal-Fire and the San Miguel Fire Department.
The cause of the blaze, which began at 3:02 p.m., remains under investigation, said Cal Fire public information officer Mike Mohler.
