Kamps Propane makes challenge donation to raise funds for veterans’ Wall of Honor

October 26, 2010 (El Cajon) – Alpine Kiwanis joins Blackhawk Helicopters at tomorrow’s El Cajon Car Show and “Trunk or Treat” Halloween event tomorrow tonight, October 27, at Main and Magnolia in downtown El Cajon from 5-8 p.m.

Visitors can have photos taken with a Vietnam helicopter and meet Sam the Pirate (celebrity impersonator of “Captain Jack” Sam Sparrow). Alpine Kiwanis seeks donations for a Veterans Wall of Honor in Alpine and will also accept naming proposals. Kamps Propane in Alpine has pledged to match up to $250 in donations. Vintage cars will be decked out with Halloween decorations. There will also be treats for trick-or-treating youngsters—costumes are encouraged!
