September 3, 2017 (San Diego) — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory in effect now through 10 p.m. tonight do to remnants of Tropical Storm Lidia, now downgraded to a tropical depression. Thunderstorms and rain are also impacting the region with heaviest rainfall likely on Mt. Laguna, where an inch of rain may fall.
Gusty east to southeast winds over and west of the mountains are predicted, up to 45 miles per hour in canyons and foothills of San Diego County mountains.
Use caution when driving, especially high profile vehicles.
After yesterday’s scorching triple digit heat across the county the heat advisory has been cancelled today. Expect high humidity to remain, however.
