June 8, 2010 (Poway) – A brush fire burned approximately 12 acres yesterday afternoon on a hill near Metate Lane and Community Road in Poway yesterday afternoon.
Cause remains under investigation. A firefighting helicopter assisted ground crews to douse the flames. There were no injuries or evacuations ordered.
