HIGH-SPEED DRIVER CRASHES INTO LEMON GROVE HOME

March 4, 2013 (Lemon Grove)–The driver of a car that crashed into a Lemon Grove home last night has been taken into custody.  Residents told ECM news partner 10 News that they estimate the car, an older model station wagon, was traveling over 100 miles per hour.

The vehicle also struck a power pole, knocking power lines into the street on Massachusetts Avenue.  The street was blocked off following the accident at  9 p.m. last night while firefighters, Sheriff’s deputies and SDG&E responded to the emergency.
