CYCLIST INJURED IN COLLEGE AREA

 November 30, 2011 (San Diego)—A 23-year-old woman suffered facial fractures after she was hit by a car while bicycling yesterday around 5:30 p.m.  She was riding southbound on College Avenue in the 4900 block near Cresita Drive when she was struck by a Hyundai SUV trying to pass her.

 

The SUV was driven by a man, 55.  San Diego Police Department’s traffic division is investigating.
