June 4, 2009 (San Diego’s East County)–“If I knew, I would have given,” some Lake Murray area residents lamented after the fireworks show was cancelled in 2004 due to a funding shortage. This year, organizers are asking the public’s help to save the Lake Murray Music Fest and Fireworks. The committee must raise an additional $12,116 by June 17th for the show to go on.
For information on the show or to donate online, visit www.navajoevents.com . You can also mail checks to: Lake Murray Music Fest, P.O. Box 191522, San Diego, CA 92159. Checks for donations, which are tax deductible, should be made payable to LAKE MURRAY KIWANIS FOUNDATION. Questions? Contact don@navajoevents.com.
