LOCAL 8TH GRADERS SELECTED FOR ALL-STAR TEAM

November 3, 2011 (Alpine) — Jacob Burton of Alpine and Lyndon Franklin of El Cajon have been selected to represent San Diego and Southern Riverside County on the San Diego American Youth Football All-Star Team.

The team will travel to Florida in December to compete against seven other All-Star Teams representing different regions of the United States. Both boys played on the Granite Hills Eagles Midget team and were selected after two grueling, combine-style workouts.
