East County News Service
April 26, 2015 (San Diego’s East County) – The Harley-Davidson Motor Company has announced a recall of 45,901 motorcycles for model years 2014 and 2015 due to dangerous clutch problems.
The clutch may fail to disengage, particularly if the motorcycle has been parked for an extended time. When the engine is running and the motorcycle is in gear, failure of the clutch to disengage can make the motorcycle move unexpectedly, potentially causing a crash.
Harley-Davidson will notify owners that dealers will flush the clutch system and rebuild the clutch master cylinder, free. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson’s number for this recall is 0165.
The recall includes:

Model year 2015
Model year 2014
