FREE TAX HELP FOR SENIORS AND LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS

January 5, 2015 (San Diego’s East County) –The American Association of Retired Persons, is offering AARP Tax Aid, free tax preparation and online-filing of tax returns for seniors, low income residents and others in need in the East County Community.

Tax sites will be open the week of February 2, 2015 and continue until April 15, 2015

Listed below are the tax sites and phone numbers for appointments:

El Cajon Library 201 E. Douglas Ave El Cajon For an Appointment call 619-579-7567

College Avenue Senior Center 4855 College Ave San Diego For an Appointment call 619-583-3300[1]

La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center 8450 La Mesa Blvd La Mesa For an appointment call 619- 464- 0505[2]

Edgemoor Hospital 655 Park Center Drive Santee Ca 92071. For an appointment call 619-873-7887[3]

The Alpine Community Center and Rancho San Diego Library will NOT be available this year, but residents in those areas are welcome to go to any of the other sites.
