October 2, 2015 (EL CAJON) – An El Cajon man who murdered his girlfriend has been sentenced to 35 years to life in prison, KUSI reports.

45-year-old David Charles Williams, Jr. plead guilty to the second degree murder of his girlfriend, 35-year-old Christine Crosby in 2011.

Williams was arrested for domestic violence towards Crosby a month before killing her, according to the prosecutor.

Williams was freed on bail in 2011 and the case was dismissed because Crosby vanished.  He was arrested for her murder a year ago.

His motive for murder was not released.
