BRUSH FIRE ON INTERSTATE 8

November 25, 2012 (El Cajon ) – A brush fire is burning along Interstate 8 west at East Main Street in El Cajon. The fire is burning uphill in medium fuel.   CHP shut down the freeway briefly but one lane is now reopened.

Further east, a car fire on I-8 east near Jacumba is also impacting traffic.
