AMERICAN IDOL STAR JOSH GRACIN’S BENEFIT CONCERT AT BARONA HELPED BRIGHTEN HOLIDAYS FOR THOUSANDS OF NEEDY CHILDREN

December 26, 2008 (San Diego) — American Idol favorite
and country music chart topper Josh Gracin recently headlined a benefit concert
for Toys for Tots at Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino. Barona’s toy drive collected
more than 6,500 toys for Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program
that collects new toys for underprivileged children during the holiday season.

“Barona has been a vital partner in San Diego’s 2009 Toys for Tots toy drive,”
said Staff Sergeant and Toys for Tots Coordinator Patrick Russ. “On behalf
of Toys for Tots, I would like to thank Barona for its generous donation and
for helping us make the holidays a lot brighter for 57,500 less fortunate children
throughout San Diego. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without Barona’s
tremendous support.”

As the 2009 presenting sponsor for Toys for Tots, Barona donated all concert
proceeds to the charity and encouraged concert guests to bring new and unwrapped
toys. Gracin, who is a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps and was previously
stationed at Camp Pendleton, returned to San Diego to perform a live acoustic
set for the benefit concert.
